Pastor
Godfrey has faithfully served as NFBC's Senior Pastor since its founding
in 1988. Prior to serving at NFBC, Pastor Godfrey served as a missionary
church planter in Canada for 11 years. He also has extensive ministry
experience in his native Philippines, including serving as a national
evangelist with the Pocket Testament League.
Pastor
Godfrey holds a doctorate in theology and has been educated in the
Philippines, Canada, and the U.S. Pastor Godfrey and Sister Gloria
Catanus have three sons and two grandchildren.
After
over two decades of service to NFBC, Pastor Godfrey is now retired,
and he and Sister Gloria are preparing for their return to Philippines
to begin a church planting ministry in 2011.
